法務省は3月16日をもって代表取締役の全員が日本に住所を有しない内国株式会社の設立登記を受理することを公表しました。これまでは、日本法人の代表者のうち少なくとも１人が日本に居住していないと法人登記を行えませんでしたが、今後は、これにより、日本に居住する代表者がいなくても、法人設立登記ができるようになりました。

The Ministry of Justice announced that it will allow domestic companies to register their incorporation without having any resident representative directors in Japan as of March 16th, 2015. Therefore, this deregulation will enable companies to be incorporated in Japan even if the representative directors are all non-residents.
